The whole aesthetic of this shoot was clean, raw 90s and this was the one part of the shoot where I had him in natural lighting only.
In my studio, I had Konrad sit parallel to the window during the sunniest part of the day, as I knew the white floors would create a nice bounce beneath him.
I wanted it to feel like a shot you'd see in a sit-down-interview for Rolling Stone or GQ in 1995, and I truly felt I achieved this both technically and emotionally with my subject.
