For this shot, I used three lights: one in the front with a blue gel, another with a snoot pointed at my model’s face to keep her natural skin tones, and a top light with a purple gel (though the purple didn’t show up as much). We made sure to turn off all other lights to avoid reflections. We wanted to use Mylar in a way we haven’t seen before, so we kept it flat instead of folding it like most people do. Once we saw the reflection, we decided to go for a pose that represented mental chaos.
