1. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
2. Photos of people only. 
3. Professional photos only:
1. We require that submitted photos meet professional standards, which typically means they exhibit a high level of technical proficiency, artistic intent, and attention to detail. Professional photos are generally characterized by clear focus, proper exposure, thoughtful composition, and effective use of lighting. They often demonstrate a mastery of photographic techniques and are carefully edited to enhance visual impact and storytelling. In essence, we are looking for images that go beyond casual snapshots or smartphone photos, showcasing a deliberate and skilled approach to photography.
4. Submit only 1 photo per entry. No grid of images, etc. 
5. No event photos 
6. No photos taken at a photography workshop
7. No nudity, sexual or overly provocative photos.
8. No A.I. generated photos — We can tell and they will be rejected!
9. You can use A.I. to enhance your photos though (i.e. using Generative fill, etc).
10. No stock photos, or purchased photos.
11. We reserve the right to reject any photos that do not adhere to the above standards or fit within a specific category.
12. All entries will be reviewed and prescreened before being presented in the online gallery.
13. You must be the creator and sole copyright owner of the photo(s) you are submitting.
14. The photo(s) entered must not infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity.
15. All photos submitted must have proper model releases and permissions.
16. You agree to have your photo(s) displayed publicly for the purpose of this competition and/or in advertising/promotion of said competition. Your images will be displayed in an online gallery on this site and/or on social media channels of Lindsay Adler or partners participating in this competition. Your photos will not be reproduced, sold, or otherwise used beyond what is outlined above. You retain copyright ownership of your photos.
17. Physical prizes are only available to ship to winners in the continental U.S.
18. International winners will be offered an alternative digital prize to claim.
19. Prizes cannot be substituted or be given an equivalent cash value
20. All entries must be received by deadline. No late submissions will be accepted.

• Who can enter?
  • Anyone who is 18 or above can enter the competition
• Is there a fee to enter?
  • While there is no direct fee to enter, the competition is open to customers who purchase a product through Lindsay Adler photography or leave a product review for a past purchased product. By limiting this competition to loyal customers, we aim to attract participants who are genuinely passionate about photography and committed to showcasing their best work. We believe this approach helps us create a platform where photographers can receive the recognition they deserve for their talent and creativity.
• How do I submit an entry?
  • You can upload photos via the form on this page. 
• What size and format should my photos be in?
  • Photos must be in jpg or JPEG format.
  • No super high res photos, raw, tif, psd etc. 
  • Photos should be high quality
  • Photos should be a minimum of 1000px wide
  • Photos must be at or below 1mb in size
• How do I resize my images?
  • You can resize your images to be 1mb or less in Adobe Photoshop or any image app, or an online resizer like this: https://www.reduceimages.com/
• Where is the gallery?
  • The gallery will be available once we begin receiving entries.
• What about copyright?
  • All photos uploaded remain your copyright and property. We will not be using your photos in any way other than on this site and through social media channels to showcase entries/and or winners. You retain full rights to your photos. 
• How are the winners selected?
  • The winner will be selected by Lindsay Adler based on a thorough assessment of technical ability, creativity, composition, and overall merit of the photograph in relation to the category entered. Lindsay will carefully evaluate each entry to ensure that the winning photograph exemplifies exceptional skill, innovation, and artistic expression. This approach ensures that the competition results truly celebrate outstanding photography and inspire aspiring photographers.
• How do I claim my prize?
  • Winners will be contacted via email or phone within a few days of the contest ending. We will arrange shipping of your prize at that time. Shipping times may vary. International winners will be offered an alternative digital prize.
