The element fire. For this shot, we used an overhead Octo box, spotlight and FIRE ! We drenched pink feathers in butane foam and lit them in a separate shot to composite 3 total images together for the final product. I stuck with an analogous color palette to help represent the element through outfits, set and props. The underlying message in this photo shows two women burning through the separation that society demands of us. We are stronger together and together we can burn down the expectations that are imposed on us.
