I'm always inspired by the mystery and mood that can be achieved with grain, a softer focus, and placing shadows in a particular way to evoke a desire in the viewer to see more. I created this portrait for my client with a single strobe and an optical spot with a 24-70 lens, using a forest GOBO, and of course, my favorite Top Hat and gloves.
