Hello! For this self portrait shot I was inspired by having recently gotten the optical spot, and a new haircut! I wanted to create a colorful and bold image showcasing both. I used three lights to accomplish the final look. My pink key light because I love the black and pink look. The purple optical spot to focus attention on my head, and the red rim to highlight my shorter hair. (I previously had more of a mullet!) I like the passion of pink and red, and purple was a good harmony. I spent at least an hour trying to get the optical spot perfectly behind me. I was so excited with how the lighting came together for my first time using the optical spot, and it's been a staple in my kit since!
